I signed up for an offer to bring 10K$ as a new fund in Savings Account to get 100$ promotional credit for holding 3 months. Their customer care experience is very HORRIBlE. I do not recommend working with Marcus by Goldman Sachs. Goldman Sachs and everybody involved should be ashamed of the way they do customer service. I opened up a new credit card, took a hit on my credit score, all so that I have something I cannot use.Now my engagement timeline is in jeopardy since I don't know if I'll get the ring in time, which I am SURE Goldman Sachs will say it's not their fault and they can't do anything about it. Why am I UNABLE to use the credit card at all now, until this "investigation" is "closed"?This is absolutely abhorrent customer service. Why and what am I under "investigation" for?4. Why was I NEVER notified that the transaction was declined? It seems like a very obvious thing to do.3. I was told the same thing, the account is under investigation and they can't give me details. The details they cannot give me are the following:1. I texted the customer service line via Apple, they told me the account was under investigation and could not provide any details, only that indeed, the credit card transaction was declined.I then contacted customer service via phone on the same day, and asked about the transaction. I only know that because the vendor contacted me telling me the card was declined.Goldman Sachs did not make any attempt to notify me of the declined transaction. I attempted to make a purchase for my fiance's engagement ring as we'll be going on a trip to ****** soon, so I can propose. My card transaction was declined. I have opened an Apple Card which is ran by Goldman Sachs.
